Bristolian is out of shed photos below show her keel being fitted then systems commissioned prior to launching. I will be back to you in 2 weeks when we load Bristolian on to a truck and driven on to a barge. Then she will be towed up to Auckland harbour; where an awaiting ship will use her derricks to unload Bristolian from the barge. Should make for interesting watching!!!

YDL are preparing to move Bristolian out of the shed next week; she will be lifted by 200 t crane and lowered on the lifting keel. I will up date you with some interesting photos of the event!

The Bristolian build is gaining momentum as Christmas inches closer. Yachting Developments Team is on a mission with some big goals ahead of them.

Just to mention a few of the recent projects;

-          The captive reel winches have been fitted.

-           Salon deck-head & dash board construction underway

-          Robinson Marine Interiors are fitting out the cabinetry work in the Salon.

-          Teak decks will commence laying in December and target for completion is 28^th January 08.

-          Bimini construction has commenced.

-          Deck house is being prepped for proof coating.

-          Southern Spars HM carbon mast & boom is painted and EC6 Carbon side rigging is in production.
